Muhajir (“Muhajir,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the Muhajir mobile application and related services, why we use it, how it may be processed, how we protect it, and the choices and rights available to you.

By using Muhajir, you acknowledge the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on the features you choose to use.

Account and Profile Information

When you create or use an account, we may process information such as:

• Email address or other authentication information provided through the sign-in method you choose

• Country or city information that you choose to provide

• Account identifiers necessary to maintain your account and sign-in session

• Your selected app language and other application preferences

Where you sign in through a supported third-party sign-in service, we receive only the information necessary to create or authenticate your Muhajir account according to the permissions associated with that sign-in method.

Content You Provide

Muhajir includes features that allow you to create, send, upload, or otherwise provide content. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:

• Messages and text

• Posts and comments

• Reactions and other interactions

• Images and photographs

• Voice messages or audio you choose to record

• Documents and files you choose to upload

• Direct messages

• Reports you submit about users or content

You decide what content you provide through these features.

Intelligent Assistant Features

Muhajir provides intelligent assistant features designed to help users with information, questions, documents, and other supported tasks.

When you use these features, we process the information you choose to provide, including your messages and any images, documents, or audio content you voluntarily submit. This information is processed to understand your request, provide the requested functionality, generate relevant responses, and maintain your conversation history where applicable.

Some information may be securely processed by trusted technology service providers acting on our behalf to enable these features.

Documents or messages uploaded by users may contain personal or sensitive information. Please provide only information that is reasonably necessary for the service you are requesting.

Community and Communication Features

When you use community or communication features, we may process:

• Posts and comments

• Images and voice content attached to posts or messages

• Reactions

• Direct messages

• User relationships and interactions

• Blocking information

• Reports and moderation-related information

Content intended for public or community areas may be visible to other users according to the functionality and privacy settings of the relevant feature.

Direct messages are intended to be visible only to the participants in the relevant conversation, subject to necessary safety, security, legal, and moderation processes.

Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription, we may process information necessary to determine your subscription status, such as:

• Subscription tier

• Subscription status

• Store and product information

• Renewal status

• Subscription expiration information

Payments are handled through authorized app-store payment systems and payment/subscription service providers.

Muhajir does not directly receive or store your full payment-card number or bank-account details.

Usage and Security Information

We may process limited technical and usage information necessary to operate and protect the service, including:

• Feature usage events and counters

• Request timestamps

• Usage limits

• Subscription status

• Security and abuse-prevention information

• Operational error information where necessary to diagnose and maintain the service

2. Device Permissions

Muhajir may request access to certain device features when required for functionality you choose to use.

Microphone

Used when you choose to record or send voice content.

Photos and Media

Used when you choose to select an image or other supported media from your device.

Camera

Used when you choose to take a photograph for a feature that supports image uploads.

Access is requested only when needed for the relevant functionality and remains subject to the permission controls provided by your device.

You can manage these permissions through your device settings.

Muhajir does not currently require access to your precise device location, contacts, SMS messages, call logs, or advertising identifiers for its normal operation.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information collected through Muhajir to:

• Create and maintain your account

• Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions

• Provide the features and services you request

• Provide intelligent assistant functionality

• Process content, documents, images, and audio submitted by users

• Provide community and communication features

• Maintain conversation history where applicable

• Manage subscriptions and access to paid features

• Protect users and the platform against abuse, fraud, and security threats

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use your personal information for third-party behavioral advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.

Muhajir relies on carefully selected service providers to operate certain parts of the service.

Depending on the feature you use, these providers may assist with:

• Intelligent processing and assistant functionality

We provide service providers only with information reasonably necessary for the services they perform.

Where personal information is processed on our behalf, we expect service providers to handle it in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements and appropriate contractual obligations.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the rights or safety of users, to investigate abuse or fraud, or to comply with a valid legal process.

5. Job Search

When you use job-search features, relevant search information such as your search terms and selected city may be transmitted to a job-search service in order to retrieve relevant results.

Your Muhajir account identity is not intentionally provided to the external job-search service as part of a standard job-search request.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures include access controls, secure authentication mechanisms, protected server infrastructure, restricted access to user data, and encrypted communications where supported by the relevant infrastructure.

Sensitive authentication/session information stored locally on your device is protected using security mechanisms provided by the operating system where applicable.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. We therefore continually aim to maintain safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Muhajir and maintain your account, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted for legitimate purposes.

User-created content may remain associated with your account until you delete the relevant content or your account, subject to the exceptions described below.

When an account is deleted, personal data associated with the account is deleted or de-identified as applicable.

Certain limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for:

• Safety and moderation

• Prevention of fraud or abuse

• Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims

• Compliance with legal obligations

• Maintaining records necessary to protect the platform and its users

Where moderation or safety records are retained after account deletion, identifying links to the deleted account may be removed or de-identified where appropriate.

8. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Muhajir account and associated personal information.

Muhajir provides an account-deletion option from within the application.

Deleting your account results in deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to limited information that we may need to retain for legitimate safety, fraud-prevention, legal, or regulatory purposes as described in this Privacy Policy.

Deleting your Muhajir account does not automatically cancel an active subscription managed through an app store. Subscription cancellation may need to be completed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, including where applicable under European data-protection law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:

• Request access to your personal information

• Request correction of inaccurate information

• Request deletion of your information

• Object to or request restriction of certain processing

• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Muhajir is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted to independently use online services under applicable law.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to use the service independently.
